As a software development intern at Zaldamo, you will be responsible for supporting the development team in creating, testing, and maintaining data processing applications, while gaining hands-on experience in modern programming and digital technologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining data processing applications
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, typically using Python and other high-level languages.
- Help design, develop, and test new features and enhancements for websites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute feedback, and help maintain best practices for application development.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members on various projects.
- Stay updated with emerging web development trends and technologies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of one ore more core programming technologies: Python, Node.js, C, Go
- Basic knowledge of core data technologies such as relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Redis, and MongoDB.
- Experience using version control (i.e. GitHub/GitLab).
- Familiarity with Agile processes and tools such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong understanding of programming concepts and principles.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
